Writing
First, an author writes the book and paper. He or she will then submit it to another person to go through editing and publishing.
Typing
The person that has the book types it in and later gives it to an editor.
Editing The Story
The editor edits the story and reviews it over and over again to make sure no errors are missed, and tells the author how to improve.
Printing
The printer prints the book. If there are empty spaces for pictures it will be sent to an illustrator, for pictures to be filled in.
Illustrations
The illustrator draws the pictures. If the book does not have empty spaces this step will be skipped (usually in chapter books with a lot of information).
Done!
Yay! Now the book will be published!
