Cement is a substance used for construction that sets and hardens to other materials to bind them together. Cement is rarely used on its own, but rather to combine sand and gravel together. Cement mixed with mass produces, or with sand and gravel, produces concrete.
Cement Uses
Cement can be mixed with sand and gravel to form concrete. Concrete is one of the few substances that will protect people from radiation. The amount of radiation in the world is growing (especially Japan), so in the future, concrete and lead will be helpful.
