Soldering is the process of using a soldering iron to melt some metal into liquid. The liquid is placed on something, and when it hardens the things is stuck with a conductor.
In soldering, most of the time a printed circuit board (PCB) is used. A PCB is a board that has a certain number of donut-shaped holes. Through the holes, circuit elements could be placed, such as a LED or a resistor.
To connect components, you could add solder to attach items together.
LED
For an LED, the best way to solder it to a PCB is to stick it in first. Then, bend the wires. This may seem like it will take a lot of space, but it won’t.
Solder the Parts of the wire that are connected to the rings. Finally, cut the extra parts.
Resistors
The besst method to solder an LED is basically the exact same way.
