A lot of people state Harry Potter to be their favourite book/movie. But what is it all about? Let’s start one by one.
In the Philosopher’s Stone, Harry, at the end of his Hogwarts school year, faced a challenge against the two-headed man (Quirrel/Voldemort). As he had almost defeated him himself, he blacked out a second before Dumbledore (headmaster) burst into the room, beating Voldemort. After the half-souled man escaped the body of Quirrel, The Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher had a fatal death. Riddle had not completed his mission for a second time.
In the Chamber of Secrets, There was something called The Chamber of Secrets, and it was reopened, causing many people to receive petrifying attacks. Harry and his best friend, Ron, along with Gilderoy Lockhart went down to the Chamber to stop the memory of Tom Marvolo Riddle to take over the wizarding world. The whole thing was because of Ginny Weasley, who had been fooled by the Riddle Diary and accidentally reopened the Chamber of Secrets.
The Prisoner of Azkaban, Sirius Black, the murderer, had escaped! Harry was about to kill him when he realized that he had been innocent; he had been betrayed by his friend Peter Pettigrew (more commonly known as Wormtail), who turned out to be a Death Eater. Black ran away from Azkaban just to get revenge on Peter. But Sirius was believed to be bad from other peoples’ view, which made Harry and Hermione go back in time to support him.
The Goblet of fire was a truly scary story when the dark lord had risen again. It all started when Harry’s name was chosen to be a champion of the Triwizard Tournament, where he had to face three deadly challenges. Bartimaeus Crouch Jr. put a powerful Confundus Charm on The Goblet of Fire to make it believe there are 4 schools participating, not 3. Then he wrote “Harry Potter” along with a fake school name; nobody else would put the fake name in either, meaning that Harry would be chosen to be champion.
